岗位职责:
The Opportunity:
1. This is a role within Compliance Assurance (CA), which provides assurance activities over regulatory compliance (RC) and financial crime (FC) risks.
2. The role contributes to the global standardised CA approach, which is aligned to the bank’s Risk Management Framework. It is responsible for contributing to the delivery of end-to-end assurance work over RC and FC risks and controls. The role holder is a subject matter expert on assessing the effectiveness of risk management activities to meet industry standards, country regulatory obligations and bank policy.
3. The role holder will be responsible for risk and controls testing and contribute to assurance reviews across multiple Global Businesses/ Functions in region and manage effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
What you’ll do:
1. Support the design and execution of assurance activities, ensuring that all relevant standards, policies and procedures are met.
2. Contribute to Assurance activity, supporting the identification of appropriate review scope and delivery of assurance activities.
3. Support CA management to inform Risk Owners, Control Owners and Risk Stewards of the design and operational effectiveness of the controls within their area of oversight and control.
4. Escalate control deficiencies in a timely manner. Proactively identify key emerging risks within assigned tasks.
5. Build strong relationships with all internal stakeholders, adopting a cohesive approach to the execution of tasks with minimum conflict. Develop/maintain positive and professional relationships with external stakeholders, while ensuring the independence of an assurance function.
6. Support the production of high quality CA deliverables, through effective quality control at each stage of the CA review life-cycle, i.e. Terms of Reference issuance, fieldwork completion and reporting. Support a high performance culture across the team through the highest standards in personal behaviour and interacting with others. Support high operational standards within the team, avoiding high risk findings from Internal Audit or other internal/external Assurance teams.
7. Be innovative in executing all responsibilities, providing solutions to complex issues in a high-risk environment. Through effective analysis of key information, support the identification and communication of emerging trends that may impact the effectiveness of CA.
8. Demonstrate effective teamwork, engagement and collaboration within CA. And work collaboratively across CA.
任职要求:
1. Minimum of 2 years proven experience in assurance, audit, compliance or risk management within financial services or other major industries.
2. Clear understanding of regulatory compliance and financial crime risk within within the global financial services industry; exposure to Global Markets and/or Retail Banking is preferred.
3. Proven ability to multi-task and working independently under pressure to tight deadlines in a challenging and fluid environment.
4. Ability to exercise discretion, work independently within broad guidelines, tactfully handle sensitive and confidential data and complete assignments timely.
5. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and to engage with HSBC staff within the functions.
6. Proven ability to question, evaluate, and improve existing business processes and adequacy of information.
7. Minimum Bachelor’s degree in related field such as business, finance, law or equivalent experience.
8. Experience developing assurance automation and analytics tools preferred.
9. Strong English language skills (written and spoken) and proficient with Microsoft Office.
