Summary:
This position will play a crucial role in building China technology capability using data solutions. He/she will be responsible for the data platform maintenance, data solution design and implementation, driving innovation, and drive synergies across different functions, and support companies business goals. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data architecture, data engineering, and AI/ML engineering, and have experience to ensure the data integrity, security, and accessibility.
61 Roles and Responsibilities:
83 Develop and maintain a comprehensive and robust data architecture that aligns business objectives.
83 Design and develop data solutions to consider the solution robustness, agility and flexibility.
83 Lead and manage an engineering team to deliver high-quality data and AI/ML solutions.
83 Oversee data integration and processing process to ensure data consistency.
83 Design data models that support efficient data storage, retrieval, and analysis.
83 Implement data governance policies and procedures to maintain data quality and security.
83 Stay abreast of emerging data technologies and trends to continuously improve the data architecture
83 Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineer teams.
83 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions.
61 Qualifications:
83 Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
83 3 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, AI/ML engineering, or related role.
83 Strong knowledge on data platform, ETL process, and data lake, data warehouse, etc.
83 Proficient in big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka and NoSQL database.
83 Familiar with data modeling tools and techniques.
83 Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and correlations from complex datasets.
83 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
83 Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
83 Experience with cloud-based data solutions especially MS data lakehouse solutions is preferred.
83 Certification in data architecture or data engineering is preferred
